Four years strong, we are a literate to advanced Dragon Age roleplay that focuses on the events post-Trespasser, while also following the timelines of the Warden, Champion and Inquisitor.

Subplots will be smaller plots that do not directly tie into the exploits of the Warden, Hawke or Inquisitor. Some questlines may be loosely connected or in reaction to their decisions or actions but are not reliant on them for participation. There will be a number of long-running subplots, which will be outlined in the main plot page to follow its progress, but we will also be including shorter subplots that could tie into other aspects of the plot later in the form of War Table plots.
War Table plots will earn rewards like sovereigns, perks or plot related items that might be of use or required for progression of one of another subplot. A good way to think of this is like a tabletop game (in fact, many missions will be very reminiscent of classic table top quests), but without the need to roll for checks/hit points/etc.
This will hopefully satisfy the request for more direction in the plot going forward, while also giving fun and exciting ways to earn more sovereigns and rewards for your characters. In addition, we will be taking steps to flesh out the world state of the older timelines for easy reference.
We will also be taking a closer look at our achievements and adjusting them to support these new additions, as well as removing any that might now be obsolete.
Links in our topbar have also been updated and made more clear. Links to templates, want ads and the main plot have been provided and the application link moved to sit at the top for easy clicking.
We've also gone through and cleaned up some of the information threads that were outdated and moved others better suited elsewhere. The War Table template has been reformatted and included on the how-to guide for easy access.
However, having said that, it's become obvious to the staff and other members that there has been an excessive amount of negativity permeating the Discord chat lately. Again, we understand the need to let off some steam now and again (the staff has many things going on behind the scenes in their personal lives as well), but it's gotten to the point where it seems to be all that's discussed and is creating what we believe to be an off-putting atmosphere for not only members, but also guests who see our general chat by default when they join Discord.
To help give us an outlet for our daily frustrations, we are going to be adding a new channel to Discord dedicated to it. The Vent channel. It's our hope that this will still provide a safe, comfortable outlet to express ourselves when life hands us lemons but to also allow those who do not particularly want to be greeted with it every time they log in to avoid it, if necessary. It's our hope that with this change we can keep our general chat a welcoming, positive place where members and guests can chat and relax.
